Enabling Java and JavaScript
If you are using Netscape version 3 or higher, or Internet Explorer version 3 or higher Java and JavaScript should already be working and our site's games should be playable.

If you have one of these browsers and the games still do not work, check that Java and JavaScript are enabled. Here's how:


JavaScript
JavaScript is a textual language and is designed for interpretation directly by web browsers. JavaScript is embedded directly into HTML documents. JavaScript is used to provide actions above and beyond the capabilities of HTML for web documents.

Because JavaScript is part of the text of an html page, you can view the script, or source code, by viewing the source of the html page.

Our site's Memory game uses JavaScript.
To enable Java and JavaScript on the PC:
Netscape 3.x
  • In the Options menu select Network Preferences
  • Choose Languages
  • Check both boxes next to Enable Java and Enable JavaScript
  • Close the menu
Netscape 4.x
  • In the Edit menu select Preferences
  • In the Preferences menu select Advanced
  • Check the boxes to Enable Java and Enable JavaScript
  • Close the menu
Internet Explorer 3.x
  • In the View menu select Options
  • In the Options menus select Security
  • Check the box to enable Java programs
  • Click on Apply
  • Click on OK
Internet Explorer 4.x
  • In the View menu select Internet Options
  • In the Options menus select Advanced
  • Scroll down and Check the box to enable Java JIT compiler
  • Click on Apply
  • Click on OK

To enable Java and JavaScript on the Macintosh:
Netscape 3.x
  • In the Options menu select Network Preferences
  • Choose Languages
  • Check both boxes next to Enable Java and Enable JavaScript
  • Close the menu
Netscape 4.x
  • In the Edit menu select Preferences
  • In the Preferences menu select Advanced
  • Check the boxes to Enable Java and Enable JavaScript
  • Close the menu
Internet Explorer 3.x

Not supported		 Internet Explorer 4.x
  • In the View menu select Internet Options
  • In the Options menus select Advanced
  • Scroll down and Check the box to enable Java JIT compiler
  • Click on Apply
  • Click on OK
